Description

Chondrites are stony meteorites made of the most primordial materia known to us. It was formed simultaneously with our solar system’s central star, the sun, approximately 4.5 billion years ago. The materia crystallized in shapes of little spheres of silicate, the eponymous Chondrules. The most common minerals in Chondrites are olivine, pyroxene and plagioclase, and they contain nickel and iron in most cases. Chondrites are the by far the most found class of meteorites.
